The continuous goal of North American Rescue Products (NARP) Inc. is to provide products and services that have a direct correlation to decreasing preventable death on the battlefield, within urban areas and under austere conditions. To meet this goal, the company says it will combine the knowledge and resources of leading academic institutions, culturally like-minded companies and asymmetric warfare experts. NARP notes this also will allow it to create innovative advancements in casualty care. “Whether the casualty lies wounded in the streets of Baghdad or the alleyways of urban America, the realities of today’s asymmetrical battlefields require revolutionary approaches to both tactical rescue and casualty care,” the company says. “The products we develop have a critical and defined mission – each is an innovative solution to the unique challenges that arise during casualty care while in the line of fire. We are dedicated to empowering the warfighter/operator and unconventional medic who are bravely positioned in harm’s way in order to save the lives of others.” More than a decade ago, NARP was launched to serve a growing community of first responders, healthcare professionals and security forces defending the United States from threats both domestic and abroad. The company explains it employs a cadre of former pre-hospital healthcare providers, law enforcement officers and special operation soldiers to support the success of its customers’ missions. Dedicated to continuous R&D, NARP says it monitors current and anticipated mission profiles to determine end user requirements. Product concepts are evaluated against client expectations, limitations and employment strategies. Performance metrics are then assigned and product evaluation begins. The company explains this process yields products that meet or exceed user requirements and perform as required in the harshest of conditions. NARP also uses feedback from the field to enhance existing products and fuel concept design of new ideas. Additionally, the company is dedicated to providing the best possible equipment made from the best materials. The company says it uses only mil-spec hardware and high-end YKK zippers and 1000 Denier as a baseline for all its tactical nylon equipment. “Our understanding of our customers’ unique mission profiles allows us to tailor our training and equipment to maximize their successes,” CEO and President Robert Castellani said in a statement. “The latest research in rescue human factors engineering allows us to design products that take into consideration the limitations that survival and combat stress impose. “Evidence-based medicine, using data gathered from the global war on terror, allows us to be on the cutting- edge of treatment methodologies. This empowers us to design and develop the tools that will best support our customers’ needs. “Finally, our unique compact, durable and versatile packaging gives our clients a reliable product that is optimized for successful employment in all environments.” “By fostering a sense of responsibility among our employees, and constantly challenging ourselves to improve, we serve our customers,” the company says. NARP says orders for in-stock merchandise are shipped within 24 hours, but if customers need products sooner, it offers overnight and second-day delivery. The company says it understands the importance of customers having what they need when they deploy, which is why it focuses on quick turnaround of orders. Additionally, if customers need something NARP doesn’t have, it works with its large network of vendors to source products. The company also has a staff of about 15 technical professionals to help clients. This group includes several nationally registered paramedics and special operations medics from military and tactical law enforcement backgrounds. “Over the past few years, we have been working diligently to provide our customers a world-class service and support experience each and every time they call,” the company says. “We have responded to customer requests to provide free technical support, fast delivery of in- stock items and a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee.” |
